Nikwax Directional Fabric - Fabric breathability on its own is not enough – it’s essential to avoid a build up of water in your clothing when you are working hard. Too much moisture in your clothing will lead to sudden and rapid cooling when you stop and rest. An adult working hard can produce upto 1 litre of sweat per hour – no ‘breathable’ waterproof can transfer that amount of water as moisture vapour, even when the outside air is dry. In fact, most breathable waterproofs stop transferring moisture altogether in cold, wet and windy conditions, leading to an uncomfortable and dangerous build-up of water in your clothing.

PrimaLoft® Infinity is a high loft continuous filament insulation with 20% more compressibility than other continuous filament insulations. The use of a fine denier fiber makes PrimaLoft Infinity incredibly soft, lightweight and compressible. PrimaLoft Infinity features excellent thermal efficiency, durability, and water resistance, providing a level of quality above industry standards.
PrimaLoft Infinity’s fine denier continuous filament construction offers superior warmth and thermal efficiency, greatly reducing the amount of cold spots (or holes) in the insulation. The proprietary finish offers superior warmth even when wet. PrimaLoft Infinity launders well under extreme conditions, so your insulated product will retain its loft throughout its lifetime.

PrimaLoft® One is the ultimate microfiber insulation. Ultra fine fibers are specially treated in a patented process and then combined into an insulating core that is incredibly soft, lightweight and water resistant. PrimaLoft One absorbs 3 times less water, is 14% warmer when dry and is 24% warmer when wet than the competitive insulation.
